招生概況

(一) 招生對象

在滬工作的外籍人士或港澳臺人士的子女。

(二) 招生年級

浦西校區(qū)：9-12年級(高中)。

(三) 學(xué)制

一學(xué)年分為兩個學(xué)期。第一學(xué)期從每年9月1日至次年2月；第二學(xué)期從次年2月至8月底。其中7月1日至8月31日為暑假；中國春節(jié)前后有三周左右的寒假。每學(xué)年春秋假各1天；圣誕節(jié)放假3天；元旦放假1天；勞動節(jié)和國慶節(jié)等法定節(jié)假日按上海市人民政府規(guī)定放假。

(四) 上課時間

上午8：15上課；中午12：10～13：10午餐和休息；下午13：10～15：50上課(周一～周四)；下午13：10～14：10上課(周五)； 16：08學(xué)校發(fā)出校車。

(五) 校車

學(xué)校為學(xué)生提供校車服務(wù)。（接送范圍：直線距離13公里以內(nèi)）

(六) 餐廳

學(xué)校設(shè)有兩個學(xué)生餐廳，由索迪斯公司經(jīng)營。學(xué)生可以在餐廳用餐（餐費自理）或自帶午餐。學(xué)校提供微波爐和冰箱。

上海中學(xué)國際部歡迎具有藝術(shù)（美術(shù)、歌唱、舞蹈、戲劇、器樂等）或運動（籃球、足球、游泳、網(wǎng)球等）特長的學(xué)生報名我校。報名時請同時遞交自我陳述，學(xué)校在經(jīng)過對學(xué)生材料的審核和面試等評估環(huán)節(jié)后，優(yōu)秀者可予以優(yōu)先錄取。

General Information

I. Enrollment Policy

SHSID enrolls qualified international students, including overseas students and students from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao.

II. Grades

Puxi campus: Grades 1-5 (primary school); 6-8 (middle school);9-12 (high school)

Pudong campus: 1-5 (primary school)

III. Academic Calendar

The school year is divided into two semesters. The 1^stsemester starts on September 1^st and ends in February. The 2^ndsemester is from February to August. The summer vacation spans July and August, and winter vacation is three weeks around the Spring Festival. Other holidays: one day for Spring Holiday, one day for Autumn Holiday, three days for Christmas, and one day for New Year’s Day. The break for other national holidays are subject to notification from the Shanghai Municipal Government.

IV. School Hours

School hours: 8:15-15:50. Lunch Break: 12:10-13:10. Shuttle buses send students back home at 16:08.

Pudong campus: Shuttle buses leave at 15:45.

V. School Bus

SHSID offers shuttle bus service within a distance of 13 kilometers from school.

VI. Cafeteria

SHSID has two student cafeterias run by Sodexo. Meals areprovided for the students at a fixed daily rate. Students may bring their own lunch. Microwaves and refrigerators are available.

SHSID welcomes students who have special talents in art (painting,singing, dancing, drama, instrumental music, etc.) or athletics (basketball,football, swimming, tennis, etc.). Please submit a self-introduction if you specialize in the areas mentioned above. Once the submitted documents and interviews of all applicants have been assessed, the school will prioritize and contact the outstanding applicants to offer admission.
